Gertie is a little smaller than the average Labrador Retriever but she is incredibly muscular and athletic. She has excellent conformation, a nice square head and a deep rich chocolate color. She is a real sweetie!
Gertie loves to play fetch with the pheasant dummies - and will gladly retrieve just about anything you will throw. Her favorite activity is a good hike through the woods. Gertie does just about everything you ask of her. The only thing she hasn't quite mastered is swimming. She can make it across the pond - but she looks pretty funny doing it. She needs a couple of swimming lessons to smooth out her stroke!
